Delivery FAQs

What are my shipping charges?

At Turner Sports our UK shipping costs are normally FREE.  There are a few exceptions for large or heavy items which are sent to the UK Highlands and Islands.  The Large/Heavy items include the following:

Heavy items

  • All Punch Bags

  • Medicine Balls

  • Wall Mounts & Hangers

  • Weighted item/Dumbbells

  • Speedball Platform Sets


All other items are classed as our small items and these are sent FREE via Royal Mail or another courier of our choice all over the UK including the Highlands and Islands.

What do you mean by Highlands and Islands?

There is no exact science to quote for the Highlands.  All couriers use different postcodes as their Highlands area and are able to change these areas without notice.  We have generally found that the Highlands include, but not limited to, North of Aberdeen and the following areas:

The Islands include Nothern Ireland and all the islands around the UK.

Which courier companies do you use?

We use several courier companies depending on the type of delivery service you have requested and the area that your order is being delivered to. We currently use UK Mail, Myhermes and Royal Mail. The courier will vary based on your location and delivery method selected at the checkout.

Undeliverable or Missed Deliveries

If you are not home when UK Mail, Myhermes and Royal Mail attempt to deliver, they will leave your item(s) with one of your neighbours wherever possible, and pop a card through your door to tell you where you can pick up your item(s).

If they have Royal Mail Special Delivery or Royal Mail International Mail that needs to be signed for, they will still take it back to the local delivery office, so you can either collect it or arrange a redelivery, as normal.

Royal Mail

When choosing a standard delivery service, if the product can fit through a letter box and does not exceed the value of £20.00, it will be sent via Royal Mail.

When choosing any Royal Mail delivery options, please make sure you have read and agreed to their terms and conditions concerning delivery promises and insurance allowances. Visit the Royal Mail website for more information.

What countries do you deliver to?

We offer the option to deliver to any country in the world, however there may be times when the size of your order and unforeseen circumstances mean we cannot deliver to you. We will however let you know if this is the case and try to find another option.

Receipt and signature

All deliveries must be received in person at the delivery address, and a signature must be provided.

Our delivery service providers may notify you by SMS / email in advance of attempting to make a delivery.

Additional deliveries and collection

If an initial delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our delivery service providers will make one further attempt to deliver your products.

If the second delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our delivery service providers will leave a card at your address, with instructions on how you may collect your product. Such instructions will include a time limit for collection.

Please note that we are not responsible for returned items and charges will be levied for repostage or refunds for the return charge by the couriers.

Delivery problems

If you experience any problems with a delivery, please contact us by email to by telephone on 01283 510065 or through our website contact form.

If our delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault, and you do not collect your products from our delivery service provider within the time specified on the card left at your address, then we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products, providing that we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery (even where the initial delivery was free-of-charge).

An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below:

  • you provided the wrong address for delivery;
  • there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;
  • the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible;
  • the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed;
  • where in person receipt is not required, there is no easy and secure means of leaving the products at the address for delivery and there is no person available to accept delivery; and
  • where in person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.

What is the delivery time?

Heavy items as stated above are sent via courier.  We use a 24 hour courier service for the UK.  Your item should therefore be delivered the day after we send you the dispatch message/email.

All other items are sent via 1st Class Mail or other courier who normally take 2-3 working days although we find most deliveries are completed the very next day.  


Light Items

  • Standard Shipping – 4-7 working days*

  • Express Shipping – Delivery Time varies for each country (Contact support for details) 

Heavy Items

  • Standard Shipping – Not Offered

  • Express delivery – Delivery Time varies for each country (Contact support for details)

Outside Europe

Light Items

  • Standard Shipping – 5-9 working days*

  • Express Shipping- Not Offered

Heavy Items

  • No Service offered for Heavy Items outside Europe


Postage to Europe is only available to Western Europe.  This excludes Turkey, Malta and other such areas.  If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please note that all punchbag orders from Europe will be sent empty.  Additional costs maybe involved for heavier items such as weights, brackets etc.  We will contact you if more costs will be involved.


We are pleased to send items all over the world.  Most of the items are sent via couriers such as Fedex, TNT, DHL to ensure your item gets to you safe and sound.

As with deliveries to Europe we cannot send filled punchbags outside of the UK.  If you order a punchbag it will arrive empty.

Please note we are not responsible for any customs charge if they become applicable.

Shipping Rules and Restrictions

  • Orders are shipped on business days and business days are Monday to Friday but because of our special arrangements with couriers in the UK 70% of our orders having light items gets delivered on Saturday and Sunday as well.

  • *Festive season, bad weather or other unpredictable adverse situations may increase stated delivery time

  • Please call our Customer Service team if you have any questions.

  • Due to logistical difficulties in making deliveries to certain remote areas, we reserve our right to cancel your order and/or make such order subject to additional terms and conditions (including without limitation to requiring such orders to be conditional upon a minimum value of products being ordered in a single transaction). Our Customer Service team will notify you of cancellation and/or such conditions as soon as reasonably practicable after you place your order.

Do you deliver and ship on Saturday or Sunday?
Generally orders are shipped and delivered on business days and business days are Monday to Friday but within the UK we ship and deliver light items* on Saturday as well because of our special arrangements with Courier Companies. Again because of our special arrangements with couriers in the UK about 70% of our orders having light items* get delivered on Sunday as well.

Any area where you don’t ship?
There are some post codes/areas where we unfortunately cannot send the Heavy items listed above.  The areas include, but not limited to the following areas:

  • JE 

  • GY

  • BFPO

  • Channel Island 

  • IM


Can I change my delivery address after my order has shipped?
No, unfortunately you can’t change the delivery address once parcel has left our premises, if it hasn’t left yet then we may change it. Please contact our online shop customer service team ASAP in this matter. You will be asked to provide your order number and the new delivery address. Generally if it has passed one working day since you have placed your order then unfortunately it cannot be changed. 

Can I have a different delivery address to my billing address?

Yes. You can choose to have separate delivery and billing addresses during checkout.

How long after I receive my shipment confirmation email will I be able to track my order?

Your shipment confirmation email will include a link you can use to track & trace your order online if your order was dispatched by traceable service (which most orders are in the UK). Tracking info isn't available until the courier has picked up your order from our warehouse and sometimes it may start working from next day when your parcel was dispatched.

Will you refund my shipping costs if I return my order?

We will refund your delivery costs as long as you return the complete order, and the returned item(s) are covered under the return terms and conditions. We do not refund express delivery cost if you are only returning one product from an order with multiple items.
